Superior quality French chisel cast Medieval revival Lady's Jewlery Casket of Museum quality, made during the third quarter of the Nineteenth Century. Retailed by Maison Boissier Paris France.
The slightly cushioned wide hinged lid is decorated with five roundels depicting working figures, within an attractive double beaded border, on all four sides with similar cast decoration punctuated with birds and animals. The casket is raised on its original four toupie supports.

Condition: Good condition with nice surface patination, professionally re-gold plated. The interior has been re-lined with a luxury navy woven velvet fabric, beautifully done, lock is present, lacking key.
